About Fiona Buckley
Fiona started her career in Irish Business Employers Confederation (IBEC) which found her often at the cold face negotiating and dealing with disputes between employers and employees and it was from the start she found her passion for helping people and working with the dynamics of human interaction. She moved to organisations like Ericcson, Telefonica and RSM (former Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon) over the years in a variety of Senior HR People based roles, with her last corporate role as Head of Professional Services for an American Tech Sales company. It was during her time here that she went back to study her MSC in Work Behaviour and Occupational Pyschology, Higher Executive Diploma in Leadership Coaching and further training in personality assessments.
From the outset of her career, alongside working full time in industry, Fiona has been delivering training and lecturing in people based topics and in early 2016 she decided to leave the corporate world and set up her own training and coaching company. Fiona has a passion for helping people and through her talks, training and coaching tries to live this true sense of purpose every day.
Fiona is Associate Faculty with Irish Management Institute (IMI) and Chartered Accountants Ireland regularly delivering programmes in her field for both of these institutes.
Fiona holds a master’s degree from DCU in Work Behaviour and Occupational Psychology, alongside further qualifications in Business, Training, Employment Law, Mediation, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Executive coaching. Fiona is also a certified and trained Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality assessor and Emotional Intelligence EQ-I 2.0 assessor .
